Bovisand Lodge is a historical Country House providing a range of luxury 4 star holiday accommodation with our Luxury Lodges and three outstanding Heritage Apartments converted from the wing of the house. Each luxury apartment is beautifully furnished and detailed. Fully integrated kitchens. Under floor heating in all bathrooms. Individual entrance, terraced patio with teak furniture and gas barbecue.
The new for 2012 Luxury Lodges boast modern contemporary styling with vaulted ceilings and recessed lighting. The lodges have 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 6 persons and has the add bonus of an en-suite wetroom to the master bedroom, plus a separate bathroom.

The Lodges and Apartments are about 500 yards from a safe sandy beach facing Plymouth Breakwater and the Cornish coast. For the walker there are many public footpath and scenic cliff walks. The golf course at Staddon Heights is within a mile, with riding stables at Wembury and Dartmoor, only a short drive away.
We are a quiet rural hideaway located on the coast, yet only six miles from Plymouth City Centre. The Mountbatten water taxi is only 2.5 miles away which is a lovely way to travel into Plymouth and have lunch on the historic Barbican , before a gentle stroll along Plymouth Hoe.
Early and late in the season (excluding school and bank holidays weeks) we accept short breaks, allowing you to escape for a few quality days away in this peaceful part of South Devon. Our midweek breaks (Monday- Friday) offer great value, with 4 nights for the price of 3! Please telephone for details.

Plymouth is a major city and port in Devon, England, with a population, as recorded in the 2001 Census, of 243,795. Situated on the mouths of the River Plym and River Tamar (which meet as they join Plymouth Sound) the city is not far from Torpoint and Milbrook and is one of over three hundred places in Devon in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available.
Plymouth has a long naval history with a great importance in the defence of England over many centuries. Today it offers the visitor many attractions, with a busy centre, many restaurants, pubs and shops, good road and rail access, and many beautiful sights in the surrounding area which includes both countryside and beaches.
